Roy Marriott MCC MA CANTAB

Shakya Kumara

Roy, an associate of MAS, is an accredited Mindfulness trainer, a Master Certified Coach, a management trainer and coach and a designer of training models. He specialises in helping people thrive in times of constant challenge and change.

Roy has been developing and delivering live, interactive online training workshops since 2012. He has sourced technologies and evolved coaching methods that help make these events fun and highly engaging – one participant described them as “95% of the experience of being in the room together.”

Boosting Performance, Lowering Stress. Roy helps leaders, managers and professionals get better results in less time and with less stress. His unique training programmes are highly participative, enjoyable and engaging, developing practical skills that make an immediate difference in the workplace. His coaching style is exceptionally client-focused, generating progress remarkably quickly and easily.

Roy Marriott is the founder of Brief Mindfulness, drawing on his 25 years of experience implementing Mindfulness in the workplace, and many years’ experience of executive coaching. He trains people to develop a relaxed yet highly effective focus on what matters most. He helps people get into their “zone” of optimal performance, so they can get better results with less stress. This is especially effective with Leaders and Managers, because the benefits tend to “rub off” on their employees too. He delivers the whole range of Mindfulness programmes, from 45 minute tasters and 2 hour QuickStart programmes right through to in-depth transformational 8 week programmes. These trainings are available for groups and in 1-1 executive formats, both face-to-face and on-line.

Roy is the developer of the iFLOW Time Mastery Programme, a system of personal effectiveness, helping leaders, managers and professionals to achieve more in less time. It’s tailored to the individual’s way of working and their particular role. It builds on what’s already in place, and pin-points the “weak links in the chain” in order to generate quick and easy ways to save time and boost effectiveness.

iFLOW is available as group training and in a 1-1 executive coaching format.

His other training models include Resilient Mindfulness, “MAGIC” Negotiation, and R4 Delegation.

Roy has delivered training to organisations such as the Volkswagen, European Patent Office, European Space Agency, ARM, Bain Consulting, Pinsent Masons, Nestle, Cambridge University, Bupa, the Nationwide Building Society, the National Australia Bank and others around the UK and northern Europe.

“Immensely helpful: with more “real time” awareness, I can focus more creatively on the impact I'm seeking to achieve.” Paul Zollinger-Read, Chief Medical Officer, Bupa

"Managing multiple global disaster response projects, being on the other side of the world from my office, yet still having a great family life - I need to manage my life! The iFLOW approach is definitely the best way to effective personal planning and management." Charles Ham, Global Disaster Response Coordinator, HOPE worldwide

“Roy’s enthusiasm and energy made this the single most enjoyable and rewarding course I’ve ever been on. I’ve seen big improvements in my work, and I’m confident I’ll be reaping the rewards for many years to come.” Steve Batson, Service Manager, NHS.
